The idea for the artist to render paintings of Architectural buildings of New York City came to him while strolling the old quarters of the city. The artist was eyewitness to the ever changing cityscapes and the destruction of precious facades of yesteryears.
To the artist the subject of Architecture will always be an ongoing adventures of recording the many aspects of carved decorative motifs, which litter the streets of New York City.
The architectural paintings during the individual decades reflect on different artistic venues. The series of the 1980's have dealt with tonal and linear design to create a free flowing composition.
